Welcome to Photo Dance!

I am a professional photographer specializing in capturing dance.

I began my photographic career as a digital technician, responsible for retouching images for a professional lab and studio. I took a keen interest in the photographic studio, first just assisting with shoots, I gradually worked my way to becoming the senior photographer and eventually studio manager before I decided to leave and begin my solo career.

My interest in dance derived from a number of factors, the obvious being the beautiful lines, controlled movement, passion and attitude, all of which contribute to the essence of any dance. Secondly is my own passion for dance, being a dancer myself I believe it helps me to understand the special relationships within a dance, and enables me to capture the individuality of the dancers.

Understanding that dance is a passion and lifestyle is, I believe, essential to my unique style of photography.
